Sideshow's Refer-a-Friend Program
Our Refer a Friend Program is designed to reward Sideshow collectors for referring new and existing collectors who order direct from Sideshow. It’s simple and easy. You can either share your custom referral link (found in the ‘Refer a Friend’ area of your online account) or use the ‘share/refer’ buttons available throughout our site. Forty days after any of your referred sales ship, your bonus Sideshow Rewards are placed in your account, ready to use! BOOM!
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have an active Sideshow online account or set one up during the sharing process.
- You must either share your custom URL or use the ‘share/refer’ buttons on the item pages to activate your referral.
Earning Referral Rewards
- The person you refer must have a Sideshow online account and complete an order within 2 days of the referral. (Sorry, guest accounts don’t count.)
- Completed referrals equal 2% of the product price, after any applied discounts. The product price does not include sales tax or ship costs. That means if you refer a sale for a $500 item, that’s a cool $10 in Sideshow Rewards added to your account.
- Referral rewards will be funded to your account 40 days after shipment of the referred order. We’ll send you a celebration email when that happens. (Or, you can opt-out of receiving those emails.)
- The entire program can be tracked in the ‘Refer a Friend’ area in your online account. We’ll show you awarded and pending referrals, as well as provide you with tools for setting up custom sharing URLs.
The Rules:
- You can refer as many friends as you would like, one time each. We suggest that you go make lots of friends.
- You do not receive credit for referred orders completed through guest accounts.
- For privacy purposes, we do not list the referred order number but will list the referred item that was ordered so that you may track the values.
- Sideshow reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to alter any aspect of this program or cancel it in its entirety, with or without notice. If the program is cancelled, collectors will not be compensated for any pending Referred Rewards remaining in the system.
- Void where prohibited by law.
- Referred Rewards are non-transferable between accounts or collectors. If an account is cancelled, the Rewards and Referred Rewards are voided. The collector is not due any compensation for voided Rewards. Rewards have no cash value and are considered store credit.
- Collectors cannot sell their online Rewards.
- You will be responsible for any and all tax liability arising out of your accrual or redemption of Rewards.
- Rewards are only earned on referrals from In-Stock and Pre-Order items. Rewards cannot be earned on Wait List or Sold Out items.
- You may not use your referral link in pay-for-placement and other search engine advertising. Additionally, you may not, in any context including but not limited to pay-for-placement or other search engine advertising, represent that you are Sideshow,
in partnership with, represent or in any manner related to Sideshow for any purpose.
Limitation of Liability
- Sideshow shall not be liable for any damages, claims or losses incurred in connection with: 1) this program; 2) administration or accounting of the program 3) the purchase or use of any of the products.
- Sideshow assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed, damaged or misdirected referrals or communications.
- Sideshow does not guarantee that access to this site will be uninterrupted or error free, and Sideshow assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage caused by your access, or inability to access, this site.
- Referrals submitted by unauthorized means will be disqualified. In the event that it has been determined that a referral has been made in a manner not sanctioned by these terms, your referrals will be disqualified from this program and any Referral Rewards that have been awarded will be deducted. You agree to abide by the terms of this program and the decisions of Sideshow, which are final. This program is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
